WHO ARE WE?
We are a 100% Mexican company, founded in 1986 in the city of Hermosillo. We began distributing products such as sulfates to two of the most important sectors in the state of Sonora, the agricultural sector and the industrial sector. At the end of 1988, the manufacture of aluminum sulfate began, taking advantage of the sulfuric acid that the Mexican Copper Company in Nacozari began to manufacture. In the early nineties we began distributing small quantities of sulfuric acid for industry and agriculture.
In mid-1993, a subsidiary company, Transports Pima, was born, which acquired its first units with the objective of transporting sulfuric acid. Today Transportes Pima has more than 40 units for the specialized transportation of hazardous materials.
At the beginning of 2002, we defined the objective of being closer to our customers by offering a wide range of basic chemical products for all types of industry, as well as fertilizers for the agricultural sector. This is how it was decided to open our first branch in the city of Mexicali, Baja California.
Currently at Pima we have the headquarters in the city of Hermosillo, as well as branches in Mexicali, Culiacán, Cd. Obregón, Celaya, Guadalajara, Chihuahua, Monterrey, Laguna, Los Mochis and an office in Arizona; in addition to a production plant in the Industrial Park in Hermosillo. We continue to maintain our goal of expansion to more places in the Mexican Republic.
The main activity of our company is the manufacturing and commercialization of chemical products for the industrial sector and the agricultural sector. We have the necessary storage facilities, both for liquids and solids, a railway spur in all its branches, commercial infrastructure and trained personnel to carry out all plant and office activities.
